At Devoteam G Cloud, a premium Google partner and European leader, I handled the accounting for an IT consultancy while surrounded by engineers. I started cutting down monthly repetition with tools: spreadsheets first, then assisting the technical team on billing automation. The turning point wasn't code yet, it was direct contact with the business side, and the certainty that the most interesting problems get solved at that border.
The best problems aren't technical. They sit at the border between business and tech, where nobody quite speaks the same language. That's where I work.
